Hampered by Heather was one of a series of titles that Stanton (along with Steve Ditko) did for bookstore owner Edward Mishkin in the late 1960s. There is no author credit for the storyline. A tale of a secretary who really runs things - in this case not only a department store, but the most innovative and profitable boutique within called the "Leather Domain." In a few of the illustrations Stanton has drawn himself.
