Complete two volume set of Crowley's restored text of Magick Without Tears with commentary by Marcelo Motta. In 1943, Crowley met a lady who, having heard of his wide knowledge and experience, asked his advice on occult, spiritual and practical matters. This chance connection resulted in a stimulating exchange of letters. Crowley then asked others to put similar questions to him. The result was this collection of over eighty letters. The letters contain Crowley’s commentary on a number of magical topics and are written in a straight forward way. Some topics include: The Three Schools of Magick, The Secret Chiefs, The Left Hand Path and the Black Brothers, Sex Morality, Talismans, Necromancy and Spiritism, Astral Journeys and how to verify one’s experiences, Astrology, Geomancy, and so much more. He eventually decided on naming the volume ‘Magick Without Tears’ though he first intended to call the book ‘Aleister Explains Everything’.
