Octavo. 266pp. This edition originally limited to 444 copies bound in saffron bookcloth, but this copy was custom bound in full blue leather with metal flourishes to the four corners of front board, metal winged cobras emblem affixed to front. 6 raised bands to spine. Titled in gilt to front cover, spine has a gilt "93" in one of the upper compartments (no other spine text). Marbled endpapers. Laid in is a folded publisher's card indicating that this is copy No. 344. Former owner has written inside card that this volume was rebound in 2023 (binder unknown). Illustrated with b/w figures and emblems. Former owner's name to title page, along with "344/444" in ink, in former owner's hand. A lovely book production. A fine copy in a one-of-a-kind binding.
