Includes extracts from Achad's diaries for September and October 1918 in which he sets forth his discoveries about The Book of the Law. Crowley recognised Achad as the child prophesied in "Liber AL vel Legis," who would unlock "mysteries that no Beast shall divine." After Liber XXXI there is a short essay by Achad, "Thinking Backwards" with a one sentence afterword written by Achad in 1948.

This copy is from the collection of Thelemic author Robert C. Stein (1931 – 2024), who wrote "The Mystery of the Letters and The Tree of Life" and other works. Stein was a Professor Emeritus of Biology in the New York State University System, whose involvement in the study and practice of Thelema spanned three decades and travels in five continents.
