Here we have an excellent study of "one of the truly British exponents of Art Deco." This volume was published on the centenary of his birth. The first quarter of the book is a biography of Egan's life and work, plus a detailed bibliography. Following this are the illustrations in both color and black and white. It includes numerous illustrations that Egan did for various books such as the dust jacket for Moonchild by Aleister Crowley, Marquis de Sade, The Flowers of Evil, and many others.
