Felicien Rops’ erotic prints are totally uncompromising and incomparable. They remain unique, stirring and emotionally disturbing. His profound comprehension of the terrible power that ancient sins have over the Occidental World brought him to the brink of madness. He found salvation in his fierce erotic art-works. The book is divided into segments representing different elements of Rops’ work. It begins with his general graphic works followed by his title page designs, erotic illustrations and satanic drawings.
