Issued without dust jacket and housed in a buckram slipcase. All edges stained black (as issued), black page marker ribbon. pp. [xvi], 117. Illustrated with demon images, seals and sigils. The entire first edition run was limited to 500 copies (deluxe and trade) with only a small, unspecified number bound as the one offered here. This is copy #190. Short inscription on a blank page by V.H. Frater P.C.A. 770. to former owner. Some scuffs to the buckram slipcase. A very good or better copy in a very good slipcase.
The first part of the book covers the Grand Grimoire or the Great Clavicule of Solomon with full instructions on the order of the Spirits, the Centrum Regnum, the Promise of the Spirit and the Method of Dismissal. The second part contains the Sanctum Regnum of the Clavicule which includes the Grand Invocation to Summon the Spirit, the Prayer to the Omnipotent, an Oration to Protect Oneself from Evil Spirits, and the Citatio Praedictorium Spiritum. Additionally it covers the Art of Speaking to the Dead, the Secret of the Art of Magic, The Mirror of Solomon, the Tablet of Auspicious and Inauspicious Days, the Book of the Black Hen, and the Secrets of Love.
