A 2 volume catalogue of Milbourne Christopher’s unique collection of books concerning magic and the history of conjuring. Many of the items documented would fall under the stage magic and illusion realm, but also contain numerous works (many early and rare ones) on spiritism, psychic research, mind-reading, mesmerism, mysticism, and other occult subjects. Christopher’s library was one of the largest magic collections ever assembled - over 3000 items are described in these two volumes.
