This special ilmited edition reprint combines two works by Frater Albertus (Dr. Albert Richard Riedel). Praxis Spagyrica Philosophica was originally published by an anonymous author in German in Leipzig, 1711. The work has here been translated and annotated by Frater Albertus. It includes a facsimile of the original German text and art. The work gives "plain and honest directions" on how to make the Philosopher's Stone. Also included is Albertus' treatise on number and color called From "One" to "Ten". It concerns the search for the causation of number and manifestation, and describes the emergence of numbers and colors.
