Profane Existence was a legendary, long-running anarcho-punk and crust-punk fanzine and collective, first published in Minneapolis in 1989. It became one of the largest and most influential anarchist-punk fanzines in North America, functioning as a cultural touchstone and newspaper for the DIY punk community. The publication focused heavily on anarchism, anti-war movements, veganism, animal rights, squatting, anti-fascism, and minority or women's rights alongside music coverage. After pausing print publication in 1998, the collective later revived aspects of the magazine and continued to operate online and as an international DIY punk distributor and label.
